Get another set of experienced eyes on a painting you're working through.

Sometimes you reach a point in a painting where you simply can't see it anymore.

You may know something isn't working but can't identify what it is. You may be struggling with the composition, wondering about a color choice, trying to decide what to remove or where to push further. Or you may simply want an experienced eye before making your next move.

You can book an individual Zoom session with me for exactly that.

Send me an image of your painting before we meet, along with anything you'd particularly like me to look at. During our session, we'll look closely at the work together and I'll give you focused feedback on the areas that will make the greatest difference.

We might look at composition, color, shape, value, movement, balance, focal areas, or places where the painting could be simplified or strengthened.

LIVE DIGITAL EDITING

When it would be helpful, I can also work directly on a digital image of your painting while we're together.

This allows us to experiment with possibilities in real time. I can move a shape, change a color, simplify an area, alter a value, crop the composition, or test a completely different direction so you can see what might happen before you make changes to the actual painting.

You'll receive the digitally edited image after our session so you can refer to it when you're back in the studio.

Stuck on a Painting?

"I graduated with a Fine Arts Degree.  Andrea's mentorship taught me more in four sessions than I learned from my four years in college.  My individual sessions dove into harmonious color theory, balanced composition, paint attributes, creative design tools, and advice on presenting my work in a way that got me into the shows I wanted to be a part of ."
