Escape winter and spend five days immersed in abstract painting in one of the world's most inspiring creative cities.

Workshop Theme

A Voice You Can Return To

An abstract painting intensive focused on building compositions that are unmistakably yours and learning how to create them consistently.

Over five days, we'll explore composition, color, shape, rhythm, mark-making, and visual language through demonstrations, individual instruction, and plenty of studio time. You'll work across multiple surfaces and materials, developing a process you can trust long after the workshop ends.

 

What's Included

• Five full days of instruction

• Daily catered lunch

• Airport shuttle from Querétaro (QRO) or León / Guanajuato International Airport (BJX)

• Daily transportation to and from the studio from your hotel or Airbb (in San Miguel)

• Some shared acrylic paints and studio materials

• A detailed materials list will be provided upon enrollment

• Individual feedback and demonstrations

• Maximum 12 participants

$1,650 USD

Accommodation and airfare are not included, allowing you the flexibility to choose the hotel or Airbnb that best suits your preferences and budget.

Manhattan, New York

April 4–9, 2027

(Five full days plus a half-day on April 9)

Spend a week painting in an exceptional Manhattan studio while strengthening your abstract painting practice in the energy of New York City.

Workshop Theme

A Voice You Can Return To

This workshop is about building abstract compositions with confidence and consistency. Through demonstrations, guided exercises, and individual coaching, you'll strengthen your understanding of composition, color, shape, rhythm, and visual language while developing a process you can return to again and again.

• Five full days of instruction, plus a half-day wrap-up

• Daily studio sessions (10:00 AM – 4:00 PM)

• Daily catered lunches

• Individual feedback and demonstrations

• Spacious Manhattan studio

• Some shared acrylic paints and studio materials

• A detailed materials list will be provided upon enrollment

• Optional Thursday evening gallery visit followed by dinner and drinks

• Hotel recommendations provided upon enrollment

• Maximum 10–12 participants
